Currently have had 21 tacoma offroad trd 4" lift aligned (modified suspension alignment)and diagnosed, We believe they did good, other than the steering wheel clocked off to the right a few degrees,(i can adjust), not too mention the guy here brought a few very important things to our attention that were wrong. However the original visit was for our 2019 tundra platinum with wheel/tire/ vibration/tpms issue(s). After initial driver side front tire issue was found to be bad tire. (He informed me they removed tire to completely inspect), after this visit is where t.p.m.s issue started initially. Since we had been there since 9:30 for appointment (comeback visit for tpms, was told earlier in the week to come back).... for an issue that was not there before work performed. My limit was 1:30 pm. Our tundra now currently still has tpms issue caused by removal of the tire. We know this cause we paid to have removed a it was causing the driveability concern addressed as they could not communicate with the computer. Was told they were waiting for a rather large update for their new scantool so they could communicatewith the correct module. Regardless, I really wish this would have worked out better, had high hopes after initial visit, but sadly, do not recommend. I'm sure there are great people here, however, in my first (3 visits for same issue(s) experience here was needless to say not the best). The new lady up front did excellent dealing with our frustration, as did a couple of the workers here, just ended up being a pretty rough experience. My better halfs alignment did turn out decent to give them credit due. Will also add that they wanted to charge us initially for a new tpms sensor on our last visit, when my wig spontaneously burst into flames they did install another for no charge. Regardless, will bring somewhere that techstream still exists. This last bit is for anyone bringing their vehicle in somewhere for service, if you do not have any dash lights (check engine/ warning lights/m.i.l./c.e.l. on prior to service, take a video and or pictures. A dashcam wired in works well too. That way there can be no discrepancy. We now have to pay someone else additional money to fix an issue not addressed correctly here. After all, fuel is cheap and I've already made 4 trips here to only have this to show for it. They have offered for me to come in yet again to address it, but after all of this, I'm afraid to bring anything else we own here if this is the status quo. I called in for their $99.99 wheel alignment special. It was timely and fixed my issue. I had no idea here was a shop charge though. Even though mine was only $9.60, it should have been disclosed beforehand. I still don't know where it came from, what it is for. It is not on the advertisement, website, or explained on the invoice. Make sure you know how much any other fee is and for what before you schedule.

Came here on a referral from Wichita Muffler,i ultimately chose Gearheads without any research due to the referral and it was close to my home,I normally have my own mechanic so I usually pay great prices, in my experience going to other big businesses auto shops they will offer to remove the diagnostic charge if you decide to do the work with them so I guess I’m just used to that, they will make you feel like your getting a good deal by removing half of the diagnostic fee or take some money off of a charge of the work you choose to do, Love the complete check up with the pictures in case you were unaware of Mechanical work that you need or some that you may need in the future,free of charge. Overall im satisfied with the Communication, how quickly I was able to get my Ram truck in and out and safely on the road again.I went in for the manifold tick & two broken studs, after agreeing to work I came out paying for a new manifold and an alignment I didn’t know I needed.

I bought a car from a gentleman almost a year ago and the guy got over on me pretty bad. The guys at Gearhead autoworks told me I should have brought it to them prior to purchasing the vehicle. But I didn't, so I was out the 3,500 that I purchased for the vehicle. Next time I will definitely go to Gearhead Auto Works because they could have took advantage of me and did not!! They we're honest & said I need a transmission put in They said it just wasn't worth fixing as I had other issues with my jeep as well. Thanks guys for the help. I will definitely be back to see you when I purchase a different vehicle.
